“To begin/Put in motion/Urge on”. The second part of our name describes what we feel called to do, our mission in life. We feel that God has placed on our hearts discipleship and apprenticeship. We would like to open our home and lives to share them with fellow believers who would like to come and learn homesteading and crafting skills, as well as practical and biblical Christian living. (Matthew 28:18-20)
Christianity
We are Christians, and our beliefs are biblically based. We want to practically apply God’s word to every aspect of our daily lives.
Discipleship
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations” – Matthew 28:19a (NIV)
Explorers
Our goal with Explorers is to teach the next younger generation valuable survival skills while balancing it with a biblical worldview.
Apprentices
To host and share our way of life with others is a calling we feel led to. We would like to teach a range of craft skills in an apprentice style, where we open up our home to others and show the reality of day-to-day life as a Christian.
Stewardship
We believe in Stewardship vs. Ownership, and how we live reflects that. We seek to steward the provision and resources God has given us for Him and His kingdom.
Ministry
Stemming from its Latin root (ministerium, meaning “service”), the word can broadly describe the act of helping, tending to, or providing for the needs of others.
