“To offer/give/make/build/create/Write/Compose/Make a story of/Act/Do/Become/Happen”. The third and final part of our name is a very broad historical term that elaborates on the things that flow from who we are and what we do. We are passionate about a simple way of life with values and methods that date back to before our current time (post-industrial revolution). Our construction methods, artisan crafts, lifestyle, homesteading, and all our activities are tied to what we believe. (Colossians 3:23-24)

Construction

We are Christians, and our beliefs are biblically based. We want to practically apply God’s word to every aspect of our daily lives.

Metal-work

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations” – Matthew 28:19a (NIV)

Leather craft

Our goal with Explorers is to teach the next younger generation valuable survival skills while balancing it with a biblical worldview.

Textiles

To host and share our way of life with others is a calling we feel led to. We would like to teach a range of craft skills in an apprentice style, where we open up our home to others and show the reality of day-to-day life as a Christian.

woodwork

We believe in Stewardship vs. Ownership, and how we live reflects that. We seek to steward the provision and resources God has given us for Him and His kingdom.

artisan craft

Stemming from its Latin root (ministerium, meaning “service”), the word can broadly describe the act of helping, tending to, or providing for the needs of others.
